    Tubssssssss

Okay so we all know that plastic tubs are very cost effective and convientient when keeping reptiles, especially ball pythons. But, what not everyone (me) knows is: what sizes are appropriate for ball pythons? 41 quart, 500 quart, 3 quart, i dont know... So if someone would please help me out and tell me what size tubs are appropriate for certain size ball pythons.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    I use the following

6 quarts - Hatchlings up to 250 grams
12 quarts - up to 500 grams (I sometimes skip that size depends on the individual)
    32 quarts - up to 1500 grams
    41 quarts - 1500 grams and over

I only use 2 sizes, when they are babies under 300 grams they are in 6 quart tubs, then they go to the 41 quart tubs when they reach 300 grams. With how we build our racks it works great for us.

    Re: Tubssssssss

I use Boaphile hatchling rack bins for newborns (they are very tight and hold humidity well), then move them into 18 x 7.5 x 3.5 Vision tubs. These tubs are large enough to serve for the first year. After that, they go either into a 32 qt bin (I have only one AP economy rack that takes them, since the sterilites aren't made in that size anymore), or simply go into an adult 42 qt sterilite, or CB-70-sized Vision bin, if I don't have any 32 qt open. I have only a couple of 18 qt bins left--they also work well for the first year.

I use two sizes, 12qt and 32qt. Babies up to 600g go in the 12qt and everyone else in the 32qt.
