Slimy poo
I did my daily spot clean of the 3 snakes vivs, and Ira, my corn, had some slimy poo. Almost looked like a slug crawled in there. Is this a normal every once in a while thing, like in humans sometimes mucous comes out too, or is this a paracitic thing that requires a vet?

Re: Slimy poo
Dont quote me on this, but from what I gathered here on the forum I say it could be a once in a while thing. If your snake poops runny again, then go to the vet. A runny poo can happen every now and then. If youre worried now, take him in now though, as it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Re: Slimy poo
I think it's a Corn thing! My son's Corn has nasty poop every now and again for no apparent reason, other than being a Corn. I'm babysitting him (and his Brazilian Rainbow boa) for the summer and am used to Carpet Python poop, his BRB has normal poop but this silly Corn is a mess maker! My son says it's normal for him and we did have a fecal done a while back and it was fine.
Obviously keep an eye on it but I'm guessing it's not a problem.

Re: Slimy poo
Was it fresh? When its fresh, its sort of slimy, definitely not like BP poo, but it hardens after it dries. It's probably nothing, if he continues to have suspect poop, then a trip to the vet will be in order.
