    New ball owner. Quick ?

We have had Mitch for about 3 months now and he has been doing great. We hold him almost every day for a while. Tonight he keeps trying to smash is face into the table and my hand when I hold him. He pushes pretty hard too! He seems OK, other than that. Any thoughts?

Could this be him trying to shed if his face is feeling tight? It's been about 3-4wks since his last shed and he is growing fast!

About how old is he? If he's young that sounds like an appropriate time frame where he could need to shed soon.

Aside from the possibly of shedding, and as long as he looks healthy (no sign of mites, etc.), I think that's pretty normal. Mine tries to push his head against me all the time as I handle him. I think he's trying to find a secret passage through my elbow/hand/whichever appendage he's crawling on.

He is about 3 1/2 months old so that does make sense. I'll keep an eye on him, but he seems OK.
    Thanks again for the replies...

You might want to slow down on your handling schedule, it could be stressing him out. Bp's don't really need or like frequent handling.
