    Your Favorite Type of Blood?

Just wondering what you blood owners have had the most fun working with and why.

    I'm considering a Blood a BCI and I need a tie-breaker.

BCIs are awesome, but I'm a sucker for bloods. Shorter than a BCI, but much heavier.

I love my breit; he's got some attitude, but no tags [yet]. Red and black bloods are also really cool, I want some of all of them!!

The best thing about short tails, imo, is the feeding response!!

Re: Your Favorite Type of Blood?

i have a pair of bloods and really like them. the female is ok but the males is a bit nippy. ive been careful but i know one day it is coming. i have reds but i also like borneos.

there are some amazing animals out there. Tracy Barker and Kara are producing some crazy looking animals!!

redtails have never done it for me. the only one i like and would own is the roswell.

brongersmai are the prettiest imo, and I believe the biggest. When it comes to bloods, the more impressive the size the more I like it

I don't keep any currently but a pair of really nice reds are on my wishlist.

I love my BCI and I love my blood! It's a difficult call...they are both perseptive interesting snakes, but bloods have more color to them, especially if you get a nice red one. I would go for the blood, then again I find a lot of appeal in robust shorter snakes as opposed to slender long ones.

Having both species, I would have to say that they are both amazing in their own right. Honestly, you should try to find a reptile show in your local area and see them (or atleast one of them) in person, which helps alot in deciding, imho. Other than that, why chose? Get them both.

Re: Your Favorite Type of Blood?

I would say 0, b/c it can be donated to any of the other blood groups during a transfusion...J/K. Its tough to say which is my fav blood. I like the blacks for their personalities and the T+ albino reds for their colors. Although the T- albinos are also a nice pick if you want a red animal. The ultra borneos have very soft pastel-like tones and the stripers are nice animals with their yellows and oranges. I guess what i'm trying to say is that I like them all for their their own reasons.
