I've had my BPs since February of this year (Delilah came first, then Toby in May, and finally Mona this week), and I try to feed & weigh them weekly. So I have a pretty good idea now of their progression, at least for the first two, and I'm getting a little worried about Delilah. She was gaining nicely at first, but in the last two weeks she's actually lost 4 grams! Last week she refused feed because she was about to shed, but then she got 3 hopper mice this week... she won't eat rats of any size, and we've found that live mice are her clear preference. Toby, on the other hand, is a major pig, and will literally take anything you offer - mice, rats, live, F/T, whatever. Typical man, LOL. So he is getting big REALLY quickly, while poor Delilah seems to be stuck in place.

I'll list their recent weight history below, and maybe someone can advise me on getting Delilah to fatten up? I'm not attempting to breed her for at least 2 seasons, so that's not my concern, but I'm afraid she isn't getting enough nutrients. I mean, Toby is already catching up with her, and he's about half her age! Is there a way I can get her to eat rats? I thought about trying the trick of rubbing it on a mouse, or using one of the commercial "food enhancer" products, but I'm not sure how long that is effective. And what is that formula again, regarding the weight of food vs. the snake? Anyway, here's what they have weighed over the last 2 months, and I'd appreciate any input!
