Question
I just figured out one of my corns snakes is pregnant. I'm in the process of moving and my question is.. would it be easier on the snakes to move the eggs or wait for them to hatch and then move them?

Re: Question
Well, we are sure that she is pregnant because we have walked in on her and her boyfriend doing the vertical dance several times. Also we can feel and see the egg bumps very easily. She is a small snake. Thank you for your timely answer.

Re: Question
When you say small snake? How small exactly? Is she a full adult female? Do you know how much she weighs? If she is not yet a female or is not the proper weight or size, she could have trouble passing her eggs...
Q: How do you convince a cobra to let you hold it??
A: You don't....

She was 1200g+ and passed 3 eggs and retained 3.
I'm not proud of being dumb enough to let it happen in the first place but it did make me a lot more cautious and prefer to avoid problems rather than just assume it would never happen to me or that everyone else was just making it up.
This is the first year since I have even considered trying to breed a smaller female and this also looks to be the first year since that the snake in the old thread might actually breed.
If the smaller girl breeds without problems this year I may meep less about breeding underage girls - but if she doesn't I'll keep recommending people wait till the snake is older/ larger.
Sorry for the off-topic (and off-species ) just figured it might fit.

Re: Question
I don't have a recent weight for her. I can't get an accurate one right now because she ate last night. She is 2 years old. What is a good weight for her?
