Re: new owner
Most snakes species are nocturnal (meaning they sleep during the day) ball Pythons are one of these species.
1.0 Ball Python: Monty
0.1 Red Tail boa: Dixie
0.1 Tree Boa: Carmen

If your ball python is active during the day, it probably means it is stressed with its environment. They are nocturnal and are only active at night.

Hi,
How long is it since you brought it home or changed its enclosure? It might just be still in the exploring a new environment stage.

Re: new owner
Hi,
Well I suspect that once you have let it have its week of no handling etc to settle in and get used to the place it will become a bit less active during the day but still come out at nightime.
If you want to give us a quick run through of your enclosure temps etc we could see if anything jumps out at us?
