I don't honestly know what you're asking here. If you rephrase it, I might be able to help...

    ...preferrably not in caps haha.

    1. Keep offering food on your normal schedule. Check your husbandry for any issues. Hides the right size, temperature gradient, humidity, etc.

    2. Why aren't you happy with the 28 qt? Most people who switch to tubs never go back. Like I said above, husbandry issues could potentially be a cause. And besides, moving enclosures will stress your bp anyways, so you might as well do it now. But, I would make sure the tub can absolutely not work out before you decide to switch.

Give it a week before you feed again. If you try too soon, it can just stress her out more and lengthen the feeding strike. She'll survive, just maybe a little hungry.

I understand your concerns about the safety of tubs lids. I have never used them, so maybe someone here could tell you what they do.

    Re: Questions please help

<_< I have always let my babies be for about 2 whole weeks before handling. As for feeding 5 days isn't really enough time to get accustomed to her surroundings. I would give her another 5 days. did you try to feed live? And if you did DO NOT leave a live prey item alone with your snake!!!!!!! You could come back to a injured pet or worse! Try live feeding but I would say right after you put the mouse in put a towel over the tub ( I would stick with tubs, they are not for looks they are for the proper care and husbandry and after all its all about whats best for the snake right?) Have you tried pre-scenting? What time of day are you trying to feed her and what are her temps and humidity at?

Your snake shouldn't be kept on the floor anyway so the dog shouldn't be a problem. As for the tubs security, buy the ones with lid locks. A tub with locking lid is probably 89% less likely to be escaped from than a traditional 20 gallon tank with mesh lid. i would say get a locking lid sterilite tub and you will be so glad you didn't switch to a tank. Tanks are not only easier to escape from they are also harder to clean. Tubs on the other hand can be easily lifted and sanitized while a 20 gallon is bulky and heavy making cleaning harder and more of an unpleasant chore
