Ball Python heating question

Hey guys do you think a temperature of 87-88 degrees is too hot for the cold side of the tank? The hot spot of my ball pythons tank is like 95 degrees but then the cold side is usually like 77 degrees and I was wondering if I should run a bulb that is usually 85-88 degrees but never goes over 90.

82-84 should be the range you should shoot for, 85 to 88 is too hot IMO.

Actually, my girl prefers the warm side around 88*. I think it's too warm.

Imo, 77* is fine for the cool side, as long as it doesn't get any cooler.
