    White line

My 3 foot ball python just shed and after his shed I noticed a white line on his backbone, it's as if the scales on the top were bleached and lost their colour, maybe it bruised it against the log or something?

    Has anyone seen this before?

No I never heard of this before, maybe the scales were rubbed off from something too rough or maybe some genetic mutation?
    Pictures would help.
    Thanks,

    Chris
