We've had our incubator up and running for a week now...its been dead steady and running perfectly. I put eggs in it on Friday and woke up this morning to find that the egg box temperature was 92 (the incubator is set at 91 b/c i have to set it a lil higher to get the eggs hot enough). I dropped the thermostat down to 89 and the temperature went up. I have a fan in there, we're using a herpstat pro, the recommended amount of heat tape for the size incubator...we can't figure out what's wrong with it... How is it running hotter than what the thermostat is set to?
Also, what are the odds of the eggs making it since they've been at 92? and possibly hotter...I have no idea.
