Pics of Boas
Hey I'm new here. Just showing off my Boas.
First is baby, an 08 unsexed colombian. She is 36" long and was a rescue that I took in about 2months ago. she was covered in dried up shed, was dehydrated, mouth gaping with salvia dripping out(turned out not to be an RI and cleared up as her maintence improved), was in a tank with basicly no heat, no water, aquarium gravel for a sustrate, and feces, shed, and discusing water everywhere. Her(I've been calling her a her) growth was obviously stunted, she was very skinny, and had not eaten for over 3 months at the time i took her in. I actually was no able to get her to eat until a week ago(so she had not eaten for atleast 5months basicly). So far shes been eaten a rat pinkie and 2 rat fuzzies. its a slow process but shes slowly getting better.

(note these ar older pix and she looks a little better now and i think has actually gained some weight)
Next is my newest snake, Ashira, and 08 Kenyan Sand Boa. Enjoy!

Re: Pics of Boas
Are you in central Mass by any chance? I've been seeing a lot of craigslist ads for boas and snakes in general recently. Some of the pics seem like they aren't taken care of very well unfortunately.

Actually I'm in Eastern MA but I know what you mean. There seems to always be atleast 5 boas on craigslist a all times. And once in awhile there are a few burms. My boa Baby I actually got from my little brothers elementry school teacher. It was her sons who decided to just stop taking care of it, moved out, and left it with his mother who really didn't understand the care of a boa and was afraid of snake so I don't blame her on this one. It was her son's fault, atleast she was trying to find it a good home.
