    BP questions :)

Okay so i bought my girlfriend a BP. dont worry she knows what shes doing and i own snakes myself . and i was just curious i have read that some people feed there bp's 2 pinkies a week and some once a week. whats best? the snake just shed and ate sometime between thurs and saturday. shes about 13-14 inches long and is a sweetie i will post pictures later of the setup and the snake itself. i have taken care of everything shes in a 10 gal tank 3 sides covered 2 hides and alot of cover and a acurite thermostat with correct temps lid has alum foil on it etc. everything is golden, im just curious about the feeding and also is there a such thing as too much cover for a bp? thanks

    -Jon

    Re: BP questions :)

Pinkies are way too small for the average hatchling.

Hatchling are generally started on hopper mice or rat chubs.

You can feed your BP every 5 to 7 days it's really up to you.

Hatchlings can start on fuzzies or hoppers but will quickly move to small adult mice. I would feed a hatchling every 5 days until it reaches about 300grams.
