Off feed?
Okay so if you seen my other threads I have a female I was trying to breed. She was about 1100 grams. She hasn't been breeding for a while now but still won't eat! HELP! I've heard that sometimes around this size they tend to go off feed for a while. Is this true? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Off feed?
you say she hasn't been "breeding" for a while..I'ts possiable the off feed could be due to being gravid.

Re: Off feed?
Well if you look at my other threads you can see that she has never ovulated and was too small to breed in the first place. And now she is beginning to lose weight, she is VERY skinny.

well then my advice is to go old school on her.. try a live mouse next feeding and see if she takes that if she does great if not.. Time for an environment change, you can stuff her tub with crumpled news paper, move her to a smaller tub move her else where in the rack or room, take her for a car ride..Give those a go and keep an eye on her weight.

I've tried live. She still wont eat. But I will surely cramp her cage and try that. Thanks FreakieFrog!
