    Talking Look What I found! PICS

    Found this lil guy in my horse's stall today. I have never seen a ring neck that young, or that brightly colored before.

    Its not a ringneck. Looks like some species of Tantilla.

    Yeah, he definitely wasn't the easiest to spot in the pile of hay, but I saw him. At first I thought it was a worm, but then I saw that forked tongue. I'm not going to lie, I kinda wanted to keep him.

    Cool, it did have a faint ring around its neck so thats why I thought ring neck. I always love seeing and learning about my native wildlife.

    That is a Crowned snake and The book Fla. Fabulous reptiles and amphibians says that it is mildly venomous. Too small to affect humans. Cool I lived in Fl. most of my life and haven't seen one.
