He ate!!!
It's a miracle!!!
Simon hasn't eaten since I got him 2.5 weeks ago..and he's been exhibiting 'hungry' behavior for the last week...but refused to eat on Saturday. Well, tonight it was CRAZY. Dude would NOT go in his hide, he just kept searching his enclosure. So I couldn't stand it anymore. I was going to feed him tomorrow and rearrange his enclosure a bit with a smaller hide and add his new digital thermometer/humidity gauge...but he looked MISERABLE.
So I thawed a hopper...placed it on top of his tank screen while a bit too warm for him...and he IMMEDIATELY responded.
I reached in with tweezers to offer and he wasn't interested...so I set it on top of his hide (where he was) to lay a paper towel on the floor to set it on and leave it...and then just nudged it in his direction on my way out and he sniffed once and went "MINE!"
He just finished and is now happily in his hide digesting.
So....Next week...I'll offer two to see how his hunger is holding out and what he is expecting.
I can't tell you how relieved I am!!!!!
He's a happy little guy!

Sometimes I wish I could be one of those mommies that doesn't worry.
I'm glad you got him to eat. Mine just finished dinner too.
I know! I spent so much time poking my head in to check on him the last two weeks, I'm sure he's relieved that he ate too so he can get more privacy from his overprotective mommy. LOL
Sounds like dinner hour was a success everywhere!

Re: He ate!!!
Congrats!
I know the relief you feel. I purchased my first ball python knowing that it was CH. He didn't eat for a month and his first meal was three force fed pinkie mice. However 5 days later I attempted to feed a f/t pinkie rat and he took it!
Knowing that they have a full tummy is definitely nice.
