    water bowl

I put an extra large water bowl in my snake's tank because we will be gone for a week and I don't want him to run out of water(overhead lamp kind of evaporates it fast). Well I just saw him take a dive and he wouldn't come out...it is about an inch deep, and my bp is only about 18 inches long, just a small guy. Should i be worried about him drowning while I am away?

He's just goin for a dip, 1 inch of water is nothing for a ball python, even a small one. Unless the bowl is absurdly large and he can't get out of it he'll be fine.
