    Habistat Mat Thermostat

    Hi all

I was wondering if any of you had any feedback on the Habistat Mat Stat:

    http://www.eurorep.net/habistat/matstat.htm

Iīve recently been using habistat stats and have the on/off and pulse proportional habistat stats but donīt know about this one.

    Thanks!

    Re: Habistat Mat Thermostat

    Hi,

It's the baby of the range.

the main problem is the small wattage and the total guesswork of the initial dial point selection.

Neither is a total killer of the thermostats usefulness of course.

It is an on/ off type but is really quite cheap to purchase - but if you are thinking of breeding or having a rack system in the future I'd be tempted to go with the night drop proportional model.

But if you know you will never need more than 100watts and have no plan to use bulbs then once it is dialed in it should be ok.

    Re: Habistat Mat Thermostat

    Thanks Dr Del.

Itīs just that I guy around here is selling them and they seem quite cheap.
I thought about the low wattage and thatīs why I was abit hesitant.

Might get one for back up, doesnīt hurt I guess!

    Thanks again!
