Exclamation Need YOUR help for BP tattoo

So, I've decided to get my Ball Python tattoo this weekend on Sunday.
What I want done is basically a ball python print outlining the side of my foot, which each individual scale making up the pattern.

I've already gone through several pictures and can't seem to find a way to make the pattern look... natural (for lack of a better word)

I'm not at all a good artist and figured this would be the best place to come to seek some advice.

Any drawings (greatly appreciated), pictures, or ideas that would suit my tattoo would be a great help.

the easiest way would be photoshop and use an effect to first remove the hugh saturation so its black and white then your going to want to tweak the contrast and finally remove some stuff. leaving you with the snake silhouette and of course the scale pattern i could give it a try if you have a picture you would like to do.

Find a quality tattoo artist and they should be able to draw something up for you as long as you bring in a few reference photos. They will also be able to give you some advice on what is and is not possible and what will or will not look good. I've found that when you let the artist actually draw it up themselves you end up with a much better looking tattoo. With the exception of the tattoo my friend drew I've always given artistic liscense to the tattoo artist. My two cents

LOL I can't answer your question but this relates to me somehow. My dad said his next tattoo will be my bp Bob constricting a mouse on his back! I'm so happy he is taking interest in my snakes!
