    He's eating!! he's eating!!

Dear god it's been since december that I've had to hand-feed one of my male cresties, and he has FINALLY started to eat on his own out of his food dish. He's just had his 2nd feeding where he ate on his own!

He's a beautiful harley I picked up from petco(hard to let an adult male harley stay there when they're on sale). I have since re-learned to never buy animals from petco, but hopefully with this turnaround he'll turn into a perfectly fine and healthy gecko.

Just had to share my excitement! I've worked so freaking hard for so long to get this poor gecko to eat. Goodbye 20 minute feeding sessions!

    That's fantastic!

I don't know the history, but what lead you to believe he wasn't eating before? What were you hand feeding versus what he got in the pet store?

    Any which way - congrats!
