Well I want to see a movie this weekend....I'm thinking Star trek or Land of Lost. I have NEVER seen a star trek episode and I do not know the characters BUT everyone says this movie is awesome! Then theres Land of the Lost, two words...will farrell and Lizard People ! What should I go see?

Well, I grew up with Star Trek...and I LOVED the new movie. They did a great job of capturing the original crew as youngsters with the new cast. I also took my kids to see it...and they have never seen a Star Trek episode in their lives (I feel like such a failure as a mother! )...and they also enjoyed it very much. My 16 year old is still chattering about it days later.

I'm 21 and have never seen anything Star Trek before... but the movie was awesome! Definitely check it out.

Hmm...an epic sci fi movie that even non-Trek people love or a subpar Will Ferrall comedy based off one of the cheesiest TV shows of all time.

Sid and Marty Croft were smoking some good stuff when they came up with that.

This Star Trek is accessible to everyone - not just Trekkies. My g/f hates the show Star Trek but absolutely loved this movie. I'd definitely pick it over Land of the Lost.

I grew up watching Star Trek and the Movie was AWESOME. My wife hates all the different series of Star Trek but i made her see the movie anyways. She Loved it and wants to see it again.
