bp in th shower????
so this is a weird question but my bo is about to shed and his humidity is perfect in his cage but i was wondering can u take him into the shower with you and jut stand there with him... i wouldnt let the water him or anything, but i would think that the humidity from the water would help him shed a little easier.

Re: bp in th shower????
If his humidity is fine, why would you want to?
I would imagine that would cause un-needed stress to your Bo. Just let him go through the process without taking him in the shower with you.

I have placed my beardie in my tub and let her swim around a bit and several of my snakes. I dont see anything weong with it. Just make sure you watch them and that the water isnt too deep.

I wouldn't. You can do a bath to help with shedding but a shower would just be too stressful. Plus, some BP's don't like water.

Re: bp in th shower????
the thing that concerns me the most is the temperature of the water that we normally shower with. It is way to hot and if it were to splash on your snake, it would probably freak out.
I don't even really advise to soak prior to a shed. if the snake wants to soak, it will soak itself. If your humidity is fine then it shouldn't need to soak.
Why fix something that isn't broken?

Re: bp in th shower????
i would get a sterilite tub and fill it two fourths of the way with a little warmer than room tempature water, also put in a wash cloth so he can rub on that and be supported. Hope this helps =D

two fourths? You mean 1/2? I would say that that is too much water, but that is just me
Anyway, Soaks aren't necessary unless the snake is having a bad shed. This snake is perfectly fine and doesn't need an extra soak.
