i have a 1 1/2 year old ball python that i would like to get a good home. i have way to many pets .... his name is Monty he is 3 feet long .. .. and he was just fed about 4- 5 days ago. he is a good tempered snake has not bit anyone and is held a couple times a week i am asking a $200.00 rehoming fee i will include a 10 gallon aquarium and his heat lamp..

i will consider all reasonable offers

Well the only bad things I see are the 10gal. tank and the heat lamp.

and wanting 200 for it? lol i'm guessing normal, since no pics or anything but that's just wrong in many diff ways, poor snake is probably very stressed out, among other things i'm sure. this area is horrible for reptiles even the pet shops are god awful, never see anything in them that look healthy let alone prices hehe.

That would be interesting. However I feel everybody's setups would be perfect....... Since everyone on here is SO helpful to beginners. I feel that instead of posting those bad ads on here they should e-mail those people this site. That way all those poor snakes in bad setups would get better setups!

i no longer have any snakes, my last ball was ina 40, breeder he was about 4ft long , my RTB was in a 75gal aq, sold him to a friend cause he was going to start breedign them he was only about a year and a half old, but i do have leo's still i'd gladly post their pics, but come on this ad is a bit scary, guess it's just sending off flags to me for no reason then.

i did email him and offered to help him with some questions, to get it rehomed properly and asked for pics to see the health of the animal etc... i was thinking about it, but not paying 200 for a normal bp. as a re-homing fee, maybe if it was in a nice 3x2 cage or something but not a 10gal.

I don't see where the flags are from. The price is a bit off but some people pay way more for normals than others. I personally paid $100 for mine because that's what the pet store wanted. Not everyone knows they can get normals from a breeder for $20.

I dont see anything wrong with this ad. Granted he's asking a little bit much but he feels thats what its worth and if someone else sees that as a deal then let them slpend their money. I can tell you right now if I had to sell Skyler my first bp I would ask alot for her also whether I got it or not thats up to the market. Other then that he never says its housed in the 10g maybe he has a rack and hes just throwing in a 10g for the buyer. Don;t be soo quick to judge.

nah says he got it 3 months ago in that 10g, is going off of what pet stores here have for a little bp at 179, i've never seen them that high but the pet stores here are pretty horrible
