BodyBuilders?
Hey all, Just curious if there are any fellow bodybuilding fanatics in the BP nation? I know that my money/addiction is torn between these fantastic creatures and lifting weights.
Just curious if anybody else fits this profile!

Re: BodyBuilders?
Hmm... Don't know if I would consider myself a *bodybuilder* but I do lift weights regularly.
My husband is much better defined than I am, and takes suppliments, which I don't like taking.

Re: BodyBuilders?
I used to be pretty hardcore about lifting weights... I played baseball and football all my life, but once I stopped playing sports in college, I just worked out harder. I hurt my back (possible pinched nerve problem) my junior year of college, so I really haven't touched any weights in about 18 months. Lol I've developed what's known as "the pouch" now but starting tomorrow I'm starting the workout regime back up!

Re: BodyBuilders?
Once i saw "bodybuilders" i jumped to this post haha! My dad is a professional bodybuilder. He first picked up a set of weights when he was about 13 years old.. Im taking after him. I want to walk in my dads footsteps, so i want to become a professional bodybuider too some day... Im really big for my age, but not pro bodybuilder size lol But unlike most kids my age trying to workout, i have all the right equiptment, (my dads stuff), and i work on muscles most other kids dont (lats, traps, tris, forearms, back, etc + the norm. Biceps, upper chest, lower chest, abs, etc...).. Also, im taking supplements but not too many, and im eating right... I take vitamins in the morning, i eat eggs, oatmeal, and a 1 scoop protein shake (muscle milk, sometimes nitro-tech) for breakfast, granola bar, plus half scoop protein shake mid morning snack, whole grain bread, with lean meat, salad, 2 scoops protein shake for lunch, granola or protein pudding mid afternoon snack, fish, red meat, chicken or turkey, plus potatoes, vegetables, etc. for dinner... My pre workout is Lots of fruits, 2 scoops protein shake, and half a protein bar and lots of water during my workout....
So yea, i dnt think you were really looking for all that but, hey, might as well share it right? And yea, its a sorta complicated diet and routine, but i learned it all from my dad...
