One Of My Bp's Has Gone Missing!

    Heres how it went,

I went over to check on my adults bp's like i do every morning, and i noticed my male 100% Het albino was gone!!! I checked all the other tubs to see if i may have paired him and forgot, but he wasnt in any of those tubs either! He must of somehow pushed his way out! He is about 1,000 grams, and got out in my room. I checked under my bed, inside the box spring under my bed (there was a small rip in it, so i ripped the whole thing open..., in my closet, in the radiator, my drawers, but still no sign of him! I sticked two medium heat pads to a 32 qt lid, and plugged them in, hopefully this will attract him...... Any tips? Btw, my room is upstairs, not downstairs, could he have gone down the stairs?

Yes, he could have gotten downstairs. My super pastel got out of his - I admit, not very secure - quarantine box. Luckily Sammy, our cat, found him and screamed up a storm (he's very protective of our snakes ... I'm not kidding!).
Tips: Crinkle paper on the floor and keep an ear open, flour dusting the floor to figure out from where he's coming/where he's going, dead rat on top of the heat mat, lots of patience and good luck!
Hope you find your escape artist soon!

Re: One Of My Bp's Has Gone Missing!

Good luck. One of my boys got out just earlier this week (due to my own personal stupidity). I searched and searched but did not find him. I could barely sleep and I heard a noise. Somehow he had gotten on top of my dresser in my bedroom (2 rooms away from the snake room) and was pushing everything off of it. I think he was trying to get my attention
Try the tips people have given here and be patient. Right now he's probably hiding somewhere comfy.

Alright! I knew you would find him. In that picture he looks like as if he's thinking : "Uh-oh, I'm in trouble now!"
Now go get the chains, ratchet tie-downs, pad locks and whatnot to turn that enclosure into a Ft. Knox security facility.
