    Cuteness...warning.

We went to our favorite fishing spot this weekend with my kids, my sister in law, and my nephews. Didn't really expect to find anything herp wise.

I caught a really nice looking garter, but that pic is on my husbands phone.

I did manage to see this guy swimming along the shore. Scooped him up, and snapped some pics. The lake we go to is loaded with these guys. My 4 year old daughter caught one on her little 2 foot fishing pole the other day. It was the size of a dinner plate. Wish I had pics of him.

Anyway, we named this guy frog

Releasing him back into his lake, he hung out and watched us for a while, and then swam off.

    Thanks

I have seen one a bit smaller than that.

The best thing was seeing my kids and my nephews reactions to it. They were all so amazed at how teeny this guy was.
