Alright-- I'm new to the Ball Python thing and no I'm not about to try breeding just yet. But I will say this--I absolutely LOVE mine. Its adorable. I have a thing of calling it a "him" but I'm not sure of the gender and I'm juggling with the idea of taking him to the vet or a breeder that can sex him.

Anyways--if it turns out to be a male do people... I'm noot sure how to word this so I'll use an example.

With dog breeding, people that own females will alot of times say "Hey, I like the look of your male dog, I'd like to use him for breeding" and they'll pay a stud fee or give the pick of the litter or both. Do they do that with BPs? I'm worried that in the future (I definately want to breed mine) that I may not have all the knowledge I need and I don't want to hurt mine or the eggs and I'd feel more comfortable having expert help and what not.

So do they do that sort of thing? I've seen it with cornsnakes? Breeding loans or something like that.

Anyways, thanks for the help.
