I went a hour today and a few hours during the week.
These are the animals I managed to take pictures of.....alot 'got away'...
Speckled King. I never manage to get good pictures of speckled kings....they don't sit still for some reason.
Water snakes (either blotched or southerns). There were about 4 of these swimming in the part of the bayou I was watching from a bridge. These were fun to watch. How many reptiles do you see in the first picture?.....there are two water snakes and a turtle

...and I was in New Orleans the other day and spotted these. Brown anoles are originally not from this area. I have not seen them north of the lake yet.
