    Coconut Hide

So I went to the pet store and they had the PERFECT size hide for a baby ball python. BUT it is a coconut (half a coconut) will this be okay?

    Re: Coconut Hide

    Hi,

    I made my own.

Just buy the size coconut you need and cut it to size - put it in the fridge overnight to seperate the pulp from the shell and cut a doorway in it.

I also sanded mine to get most of the course fibres off it.

They do crack if you get them too wet and such - but coconuts are fairly cheap so making more seems the plan to me.

    Hi,

I would get whichever size you can fit in your enclosure while leaving enough space for two identical hides.

I like the nice heavy ceramic ones as they get tipped less often.
