...yesterday I had a fever and a sore throat. Went and saw the doc and he did a strep test and it came back negative. He said just get plenty o rest and gargle warm salt water.
Well, I broke the fever but still have the sore throat. It is not the scratchy kind that makes you cough. It is more tender so it hurts when I swallow, making drinking or eating painful.
I tried the warm salt water trick but I pretty much ended up gagging myself...my wife brought home a milkshake yesterday and the coldness and smoothness I feel helped...but as much as I would like to have milkshakes for every meal, I need actual food.
Chloraseptic spray does not help either.
Anyone have any tricks that may help?
Thanks all and happy Thursday!
