    New Rescue Leopard

Girl contacted me if i could take her leopard gecko she tired rescuing 6 months ago and failed. So she gave me his entire setup plus 20$ to nurse back to health.

I took him out of 10 gallon tank and setup in 28 qt sterilite tub. hes in shed but seems some is stuck so hopefully he can get it off. IF he cant what can i do to help get it off. hes got a lil tub with moist paper towels to get into. If shed gets to where i need to assist can I put him in a shallow water to let him soak it up.

His food dish is meal worms and calcium. Also small water dish 2 hideso n each side. 80 cool side 92 warm end.

Hes got toes missing and his tail has regrown back. On the feeding note i bought a can of super worms to help get him to gain weight but how often do i feed them so he dont get addicted to em.

whats a ideal humidity inside the tub right now hes bout 60% but i got it lil higher to help the shedding. ill add more holes as i heard 30-40% is ideal for them with the moist hide.

Below are his pictures and setup hes in now.

Hope he does great on his recovery. I give the other girl props to try and give him care but she followed pet store advice and well look where it got.
    her.

i jsut took him out of water and the shed on head rolled up but will not go pass the eyes as if looks like their stuck on and will not budge with the q-tip. so i put him back in lil longer on water. and ill try once more. if no success ill put him back home and see if it comes off naturally now that its soften up

    Re: New Rescue Leopard

He'll get the shed off his head, I just concern myself with their toes, and making sure the shed is all off there so they don't loose any digits. He will do ok get him some wax worms, they love 'em

    Re: New Rescue Leopard

i have over 40 pinkies right now in my rodent rack.

i was leaning away from crickets as many do and feed strictly mealies and supers dusted with the calcium.
