    VPI is an axanthic line.
    TSK is an axanthic line.
    Jolliff is an axanthic line.

(All of these lines are named after the breeders that founded them.. VPI is a breeder!)

If you want an Axanthic Mojave, all you'd need to do is to get an axanthic and a Mojave het Axanthic of the same line. (TSK, VPI or Jolliff)

Grow'm up, breed them together, and hope to god you hit the odds!

Probably my next purchase... Axanthic to breed to my Mohave. A long project but will be worth it.

Then you would get Mojaves and Normals 100% het for Axanthic of whatever line you have.

You would need to breed a Mojave 100% het Axanthic to your Axanthic to get your Axanthic Mojave.

Re: i got a question about an out come

So if starting such a project you might want your female to be the axanthic and your male to be the mojave. That way you only have to raise up a female the first generation. For the 2nd generation (if you are lucky enough to get a male mojave het axanthic) you only have to raise up a male to breed back to the original axanthic female which could well save one or even several years as males mature much faster on average than females.

It takes alot of time to learn genes and what does what if bred to this. Hope the link helps.
