    Shedded and was bleeding?

I watched my male Pinstripe shed lastnight and when he was done I got him out to get the shed out of the tub and seen blood on the papertowels in his tub?? Then I inspected him and seen dried blood near his cloaca?? Is that something that is normal?? I have never seen this before??

Yes it happens, from time to time, nothing to worry about.

    Hi,

The skin just inside the vent can be quite delicate - but when they shed their skin they have to pull it away from there too. So sometimes there are a few drops of blood.

As long as it is only a little bit and it stops fairly quickly it is nothing to worry about.

My lesser shed yesterday and it left a few streaks on the paper.
