lol. I think the other post is making people nervous. This has to be the worst ad yet. I'm sending them an e-mail.

Don't LOL too loud... someone might see you laughing at this person who obviously mistreated this animal considering they don't even know the species, let alone proper care.

MY response to this craigslist listing (since I am a Jerry Springer watching drama queen ) is:

    LOL!

It never turns out good for you when you poke a tiger in the eye. If you guys disrespect staff so much, you're free to leave for one of the forums where that kind of stuff is tolerated. Personally, I'd rather NOT see this board turn into every other forum out there. The rules aren't so strict, grow up and stop with the playground back and forth.

How about we start educating these people and referring them here rather than smearing them into the pavement over their care or lack of it. We weren't all born knowing it all. How would you feel if it was, say, you or your kid who was being torn apart on another forum and you stumbled across it? I bet it wouldn't be a nice feeling.

I'm all for the re-writing of the rules to include no posting of the CL ads. The childish behavior it prompts from some sheds an ugly light on the love the rest of us have for the hobby and the animals.

It appears to me that probably a person has come into possession something that he believes has value and that he can quickly flip it on Cragslist but has failed to properly research just what it is that he has.

I agree with you on all counts. I apologize for harassing Mike publicly (I used the pink emoticon called Razz to express this). I may have over-extended our friendship (he is the only one I've personally met from this forum). I should have sent it to him in PM. It wasn't intended to address any of the staff. I was playing a silly joke on him. I felt bad for him, since these CL Ads are popping up without much challenge while his got a big load of crap from the word Go. So, I thought I'd make light of it. But, like all other things, it is open to mis-interpretation and I should have realized that. And for that, I apologize.
