    New delivery from BHB

Well I ordered 08 1.1 het. pied, and where at my house friday. When I took the male out of the bag he was in shed. I wasn't expecting them to be as big as they were. So I had a 2 12 qt tubs set up. I'll be moving them to 28 qt tubs as soon as the hides and heat tape get here tomarrow. Yesterday was feeding day for my pastel, so I tried to feed them also. The male that was in shed ate 1 small mouse, and female ate nothing. The male also shed last night. So I tried again this morning, and ate like champs. Male ate 2 small mice and female ate 2. When friday gets here i'm going to weigh them. Also I noticed the female likes to soak in her water. I checked the water, and no mites. I think shes tryin to hide in it cause she dosen't fit in her hide. Well anyways here are some pics.

    Male het pied

    Female het pied

    Female soaking

And I just had to throw in a pic of my pastel crawling on me

Sorry for the bad pics I was excited to see them, but didn't want to bug them to much on the first day.

    Re: New delivery from BHB

Well I Cleaned the pastel's tank and found a shed in the hide. It was a full shed. I really thought that the color of her would be brighter, but she looked the same. I also got in my heat tape and hides, so I got the hets moved to the 28qt tubs. The female found the hide fast, the male checked out the tub for a while, and finally found his hide. While I was getting there tubs ready, I got the scale out. The female weighed 542 grams, and the male weighed 547 grams.

Anyone know any good places to get f/t mice that take paypal? There are two places I can get live 1 being 15 miles away the other 30 miles. But here recently they are running out in hurry, and rasing prices. I guess alot of people around here are startin to get into reptiles.

I would like to breed mice or rats, but don't really want to do it in the house. Going to have to wait until I can get a temp. controled shed.
