    breeding ?

so i have a spider feamale getting ready to lay for her first time this season, its been 50 days sense i first noticed her ovulate, she is very swollen and looks likes shes ready to pop, but 50 days sense ovulation and still no eggs, i have never had it take so long, my only idea is that i must of caught her right at the begining of her ovulation, so thats why my calculations are wrong, and buddy got any advice?

The average is 27 to 35 days after pre-lay shed. Pre-lay shed is on average 14 days after ovulation.

So the average would be 41 to 49 days between ovi and laying however it is an average it can be longer it can be shorter.

I have a female right now who is 42 days POS (which mean there has been 56 days since ovulation)

If your female did ovulate at this stage you should be able to clearly see the eggs moving when you pick her up if you don’t you might have mistake what you saw for an ovi, if you did not make any mistake just be patient no reason to worry just yet.
