    The super update of awesomeness

Ok guys, I am new here. My names Konstantin and I signed up like two nights ago. Thanks to everyone here, I have outfitted my rescue BP with everything that he could possibly need. My BP ate a small rat for the first time in 3 months, as well as having a clean shed. His prior owner was a moron who thought he was hibernating but thats aother story. I just came back from walmart, have a dimmer for the UTH, Clay pots for hides, an Accu-rite therm/hygrometer to replace the petco dials. I also have two almost clear Sterilite 35qt/32L storage bins with lock tops because tomorrow, thanks to all of your great advice, I am adding a 66%het albino female, an adult male pastel and a light colored BEAUTIFUL proven female to my collection, bringing me to a total of 4. Thank you to all for helping me expand my knowledge, and Im grateful to be part of this community, as well as people who share my passion for BPs.

Oh and yeah, perhaps this belongs in the meet the people forum, but I think it met the criteria for General BPs.

Im adding the others today, I get the pastel/normal from a woman in the area who had a BP collection but is starting over but with JCPs. The 66%het albino comes from another local who enlisted in the AF but cant take her snakes with her to Alaska, so Im more than happy to take em off her hands.

Re: The super update of awesomeness

Hey. Ok heres the update, and you guys are gonna love this, because I do. So I have my new pastel male, proven breeder female, and my 66% het albino female. But get this...the normal female that I bought with the pastel laid a clutch of 3 eggs the other day. Her owner is a JCP breeder and had no idea she was gravid until she checked her box and there were 3 eggs. Best part is, the only exposure she had to a male was a mojave that was left with her while the owner was cleaning out cages. So....lets pray for a female mojave in this clutch and mojave pastels in 2 years? Ill have pics later for sure.

Pics tomorrow of the setup, the snakes in another 2 days or so. Theyre all fidgety and stressed because theyre used to being in a Boaphile and now theyre in tubs. My Het albino is in a 10G because she is a tiny thing. And she is not a shy eater...i tried to feed just for the hell of it while I was setting up the tanks, all 3 adults refused, but she ate 3 adult mice in a row. Yikes...

Congrats on the rapidly expanding hobby and the good luck you've had so far in acquiring some nice animals. Hopefully you can test out that little 66% het in the coming years to see what genes she's really holding.

Do you mean the lady gave you the eggs as well? Do you have an incubator?
