i recently obtained a scarlet king snake

and I am wondering if anyone on hear can give me any pointers. Well, I believe Scarlet King, but I could be wrong and confused it with a regular Scarlet Snake.
I was cleaning out my pool when I found him/her, and living where I live it wasn't too big of a deal so I decided to keep him. He his probably around a foot or so. I'm not too sure because I'm letting him get use to his temporary cage, which is about a ten gallon plastic container. I read brief diets scattered on the web and currently am placing a few worms in his enclosure for him to eat. I have green anoles and skinks all around my house so I'll probably try to catch a small one when I can. If anyone can help me, please do.

I'm thinking that's a milksnake not a king. Probably like skinks quite a bit but just might take pinks too.

Post some more pics and you'll get a better ID on him. Where do you live?
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Its a scarlet snake. Scarlet kingsnakes have bands that go completely around the body while scarlet snakes have a solid belly pattern.

Yours - You can see the bands stop before they reach the stomach.
