Face rubbing?
Today after I fed my BP he started rubbing his face all along the side of his enclosure, I've never seen him do this before, any ideas what he's doing? Thanks! Oh and he just shed about a week ago. No loose skin either.

might have something in his mouth, or he could be massaging the muscles, either for comfort or to realign/adjust things.
i see many bp's and others do this, never thought anything unusual about it...

Re: Face rubbing?
Jake does that after he eats, I assumed it was to help realign his jaw or muscles.

After a meal they will rub their jaw to re-align it, sometimes they yawn instead of rubbing too.

Re: Face rubbing?
When I've seen this it's usually from something stuck in their mouth, if it keeps up you might want to open the mouth and check to make sure it's clear.
However you can also see this in mild respiratory infections where their nostrils are plugged up from mucus, if you look close you can sometimes see the discharge/mucus rubbed off on the wall of the tub.

He's quit doing it now. I checked to see if something was stuck and it looks clear, no mucus either.
