    Nags Head

Ok well these arent any kind of reptiles but I didnt know where else to stick this. So this past weekend we went to Nags Head NC and went fishing and hung out at my boyfriend's beach house.

    Here is what we caught:

Skate.. and we caught like 60 of these things in 3 nights of fishing

A little sand shark. He was cute!

And a pod of dolphins swam by... they were a lot closer than what it looks like in the picture. It was really neat!

OH man I've never caught a skate or ray before. Do they really fight as hard as I've heard? Good catch

They really do. Like we thought a couple times that we had something really big and then it turned out to be a tiny little skate..lol. Very fun though.

Nice pictures. That little sand shark is cute, and getting to see those dolphins was really sweet.

i caught a ray while shore fishing down there once. felt like i was reeling in a brick, so i though i just got a bunch of seaweed. sure enough, when i could see what i was reeling in, he had his fins spread out far as if he was trying to create a lot of drag.

small guy too, but he had my pole bent nearly in half!

Yea last year when we went we though we caught a huge fish or something because he would pull the line out and everything. But we finally got him in and it was a skate with probably a foot wing span lol. They are tough little guys. And then to get them off your hook is even harder....
