Brand spankin' new coastal(courtesy of Colin!)

I want to give a HUGE thanks to our very own Colin Vestrand (Atheris Reptiles) for this cute little beauty! My first venture into morelia! She arrived this morning, the packing was immaculate, and she's in perfect health, energetic and loves to climb. She's about 2 feet long and pretty skinny compared to ball pythons!

I've got a feeder thawing for her, but other than that I haven't pestered her too much despite how tempting it is. She's got some personality to her and huffs and puffs, but no strikes at all so far. I was almost hoping to get my first python bite, so far no "luck" in that department! lol.

Here's the good part, photos! I apologize my camera isn't great, my apartment lighting stinks, and I didn't stick around too long to try and get perfect shots.. but I did manage to get a quick one that is in pretty good focus:

Anyone looking for a morelia spilota mcdowelli, I'd highly suggest hitting up Colin Thanks again!!
