I work at an animal research facility and we euthanize our experimental animals via a CO2 chamber. It is very humane and very quick.

I am thinking of translating that technique to rats I feed my BP.
I feed live and am still on rat pups, but as the prey item gets larger in the future I know there is a possibility of my BP getting injured by the rat.
I feel this is a very humane way for me to prekill the prey item (I don't want to go back to FT) so it does not have the chance to injure my snake.....Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Co2 forces the o2 from the lungs, quickly suffocating the prey item....no chemicals no anasthesic chemicals, just Co2...I'd appreciate any thoughts
