Question a few questions about breeding..

how much money does it usually take to start breeding snakes?

how much would it cost to get my snake sexed?

The thermostats for incubators does what exactly? does it just tell the temp? or do you hook it up to your incubator/ refrigerator and it keeps it warm at the temps you set it to?

    thank you. =]]]

The cost of starting breeding is greatly according to the type breeing projects you want to get into, plus caging, husbandry materials, food, ect. A vet visit to sex a snake will be a visit cost, I suggest finding a breeder near you or at a show to sex them and maybe even teach you how to. Yes a tstat keeps the temps in a bator controlled at a set temp, usually 88-90 degrees, according to the breeder.

Re: a few questions about breeding..

Take your time and learn about your snake, and the species it belongs to

Youll have this animal for a very long time ( Hopefully ) so really, theres no reason to rush things along (But i do understand your excitement, we were all there once!)

Breeding Knowledge comes with time, and experience with knowing how to maintain the proper environment for your animals at all times, And also knowing your animal/s and their habits and needs inside and out.

You definitely dont want to just jump into it, as while its not "Hard" per-se... there is alot that is involved in the process that takes time to learn and knowledge that comes with experience. Not to mention expenses to make sure you have everything set up correctly. ( Thermostats, Enclosures, Food, Bedding, Vet bills, and all sorts of other things!)
