Decor
For those of you that have display cages,
Where do you get most of your Decorations from? Like fake plants, etc.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Re: Decor
I got all mine on craigslist... I found an add for a bunch of cages, so I went to pick them up and these people also had big boxes of driftwood and plastic plants...
There's also a pretty good selection at Michael's craft store.

Re: Decor
What about picking up your own branches?
I've thought about going up to the Mountains and picking up some aspen branches but I'm not sure how to disinfect them and make them safe.

Re: Decor
bake them in the oven on some tinfoil, it'll kill any lil bugs or nasties that it might be harboring. i used to do this for a macaw i had. i cant remember the temps & time tho.. hopefully someone will remember & chime in.
*edit*
I did a quick google search and found a post saying for a branch bake 200 degrees for 30-40 mins. but u may wanna look more into the temp & times.
also be sure theres been no pesticides sprayed on it!
