Considering a Corn

I recently adopted a BP from a friend of mine. Since getting Zeke, I've become aware of how popular Corn Snakes are as pets. After looking around, I've decided on getting a Blizzard if I can find one. That leads me to my question. Does anybody know of a reputable breeder that is either in Texas, preferably near DFW, or has reasonable shipping rates?

I think corns are highly underrated. You'll be very happy with one!! I should have blizzards this year, along with lots of other stuff, and I'm local to you.

Corns are great, easy to take care of and a joy to handle. I highly recommend them as a pet.

Corns are great. They feed well,mine have shed well, they don't need too much things to keep them healthy. Mine are in large storage boxes as an adult they need a 20. That and when they tag me it doesn't hurt LOL!

I love our corns. It is very nice having both corns and BPs, because their differences complement each other nicely. If you are interested in having a snake curl up on your lap while you watch TV, get out one of the BPs. If you are interested in a little more active handling session, get out one of the corns. Young hatchling corns can be a little bit spastic, but they tame down quickly. Both species are wonderful.

I saw your other post on the BP forums and thought I'd let you know that corns tend to be more nippy than BPs. That's not to say all of them are, but mine sure liked to bite the crap outa me when I first got her. But of course her head is so tiny that her attempts to harm me were laughable. It was just a pain dealing with a hissing, tail vibrating, strikey little worm. But there definitely are the sweet hearts out there. Just wanted to give you a heads up. : )
