The excecutives are aware of the problem however at the store level it is a whole other story.

I just got back from driving around to my local pet stores with nohr669 flyers, and PetSmart shocked me.

PetCo was all over it, and the manager said they were all sending letters and emails, and that they were waiting for a letter from corporate to hand out. She told me that since I didn't work there I was free to put my nohr669 flyer up on there board until the corporate letters got there.

But I walked into PetSmart and asked the first employee I saw if they knew about House Resolution 669, and she told me she never heard about it. So I gave her a brief run down and asked to talk to a manager. When I said I was just stopping in to see if the store knew about it, she said, "yeah we know". I told her that the employee I talked to never heard about it, and she just repeated that they knew. She looked like the kind of old hippy who would support PETA and such. The person above her was on a lunch break, so I'll be calling back to talk to someone else and see why the managers know about it, yet seem less than enthusiastic about informing people or doing anything to oppose it.
