    Not a good enclosure!

I don't think that this tank looks very comfortable to me.

    Why?

You don't like carpet with your own fecal matter on it? And how about extremely dry air? My favorite

How about bringing the Sun right above and into your living room.

Eek, no wonder the bp is hiding! The light is basically glaring right down upon his home, which has no other hiding areas or plants...who on earth set this up???

    Re: Not a good enclosure!

Well Im damn proud to say it isn't mine. I had to go to this guy's house to pick up a couch for a friend. My friend told him I was into snakes and he got all gung ho about his "rad" bp. As soon as I saw the enclosure I let in to him a started telling him everything he was doing wrong( this made him a little angry.) I told him I'd take it off his hands since he obviously didn't like it very much or have time to take care of it, but he refused and called me stupid ( in some different words.) So I snuck a pic with my phone so I could at least show every one.

Is there at least a water bowl in there? I can't tell because of the rediculous brightness of that lamp.

How did you go about telling him he was doing it wrong? I don't know, maybe you came across as a jerk and put him into defense mode. You should try approaching him again, or maybe email him a link to the caresheet here.

    Re: Not a good enclosure!

It looks a lot like a friend of mines cage set up. It's not but very similar.

I know what you are going through...
I tried to help her with her set up. Was very diplomatic. She did end up putting a second hide in there but that's it. She didn't take any of my other advice. No thermometer, a big ol' light in the middle like that. Even has the top held down with bricks for an adult ball.

I've tried twice and it did nothing but get her to be defensive and not talk about balls with me anymore. Even though tried to be very nice about it and not preachy. Sounds like this person is very similar. Don't know if you'll be able to change them. Good Luck if you try again.

It is always hard trying to help people who don't want to be helped. I am glad you tried though!
