    Re: ok...breeding a het to a morph?

Sorry, having trouble understanding your question...

If you breed a morph male(such as a Hypo male) to a 66% Possible Het Female(such as a 66% poss het Hypo female), what do you get?

    Well...

The female has a 2 in 3 chance of being a 100% het Hypo.

IF the female proves to be a normal, you would get all 100% het offspring, which look normal.

IF the female proves to be a 100% het Hypo, you would get Hypos and 100% het Hypos.

If you breed a Pastel male to a Possible het female(no clue why, but okay)... You would get pastels and normals that are all 33% Possible Het Hypo. Not good odds, but okay if you just wanted to make Pastels.

Normals, 1.0 100% Het Pied Classic Jungle, 1.0 Yellow Hypo, 0.1 100% Het Butterscotch Hypo, 0.1 100% Het VPI Hypo, 0.1 100% Het Yellow Hypo, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Yellowbellies, 0.1 YB Granite, 1.0 Black Pastel, 1.0 Lemon Pastel, 0.1 50% Possible Het Banded Albino, 0.1 Spider, 1.0 Fire, 0.2 Granite

ok the 66% het is what you get when you breed het x het.. I am gonna use a 4 egg clutch so the math is easy for you to understand thats how i learned it
    4 eggs
    1 should be the morph
    2 are gonna be hets
    1 is nothing but normal
now you can't pick out the hets from a normal the only way to do this is to prove it out by breeding it so in other words 66% het is play russian roulette you might have nothing but a normal.
now if you breed morph x het then half the clutch will be that morph and the other half will be 100% hets.
sorry so long hope this helps
