what part of home depot to they keep the accurite thermometers

Try the seasonal department. They are sold for use as indoor/outdoor thermometer. If they are not there try electrical.
I found mine in the indoor section of the gardening/outdoor area. Theres a bunch of thermometers and such, theres some good ones over there.

is the one that is thermometer with wired temperture sensor good?

I use accurites and haven't had a problem yet
