My Tenac, my fave BP .. First one in my collection just ATE! Thus ends the 4 month long hunger strike! He was starting to lose weight, if he didn't eat today it was calling the vet as the next step.

Yeah nothing is worse then not being able to get your snake to eat! So upsetting! Congrats though!

Very nice. I think they have the capacity to regulate those fasts. Each time I have one that starts losing weight they suddenly go back on feed.

I'm glad he finally ate for you, I remember when I had trouble getting my first snake to start eating, it was shipped to me as a week 1/2 old and it hasn't ate and i worried for 3 weeks until it finally ate.
